A Long March-5 carrier rocket has arrived in Wenchang, Hainan, for the launch of the Shijian-18 communication satellite that's scheduled for June, the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation said last Saturday.
中國航天科技集團(tuán)公司上周六表示，一枚長征五號(hào)運(yùn)載火箭已運(yùn)抵海南文昌，為計(jì)劃于6月進(jìn)行的實(shí)踐十八號(hào)通信衛(wèi)星發(fā)射任務(wù)做準(zhǔn)備。
It will be the second mission of the Long March-5 which made its maiden flight from Wenchang in November.
這將是長征五號(hào)繼去年十一月的文昌首飛后的第二項(xiàng)任務(wù)。
During the mission, the rocket will further test its core technology, accumulate data andprovide support ahead of the launch of the Chang'e-5 lunar probe in the second part of thisyear.
執(zhí)行此次任務(wù)過程中，長征五號(hào)將進(jìn)一步測(cè)試其關(guān)鍵技術(shù)，積累數(shù)據(jù)，為今年下半年執(zhí)行嫦娥五號(hào)月球探測(cè)器發(fā)射任務(wù)提供支持。
Fuelled by liquid hydrogen, kerosene and liquid oxygen, the Long March-5 can carry apayload of 25 tons into low Earth orbit and 14 tons in geostationary transfer orbit, over 2.5times the capacity of other models of Long March carrier rockets.
長征五號(hào)以液氫、煤油、液氧為燃料，近地軌道運(yùn)載能力達(dá)到25噸級(jí)，地球同步轉(zhuǎn)移軌道運(yùn)載能力達(dá)到14噸級(jí)，是其他型號(hào)長征系列運(yùn)載火箭的運(yùn)載能力的2.5倍以上。
